Dr. Kyle Mayfield, DDS

I have been working at North Shore dentistry since 2019, where I got to work closely with Dr Erin Curless. Under her mentorship, I learned the North Shore Dentistry Standard of care, a standard built on exceptional care and attention to detail. In 2021, I transitioned to dental school, where I was a part of two externships, allowing me to serve while strengthening my skills. I was grateful to come home and work at the office that raised me personally as a patient and professionally as a mentee.

Dentistry allows me to continuously build lasting connections and relationships while building healthier, pain-free smiles. I strive to make North Shore Dentistry the office that breaks the chain of dental fear and anxiety by creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. I also enjoy working with my hands and being a perfectionist on the smallest of details, knowing every detail makes a difference.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry.

My Personal Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family. I love listening to live music, at a concert, a bar and always at Mile of Music.

I especially enjoy being around the water, whether that means boating, relaxing by a lake up north, or spending time near the river around town. I am also an avid Wisconsin sports fan and enjoy following all the major sports teams, although I enjoy talking about nearly any sport or activity that gets you moving.

My wife and I also love exploring new restaurants throughout the greater Fox Valley area and are always trying to find a new hidden gem.
